6 meals

They have lost their ponies and horses and have to walk, Bilbo got up on his shaky legs and tried to blink away the dizziness …I’m fine I’m fine I am okay… he tells himself, picks up his pack and puts it on his back and starts talking with the others, he listen to them talk and sing as they travelled though fields and woodlands areas. Bilbo forced himself to smile at the Dwarfs when they talked to him he joined in on their talks, the poor Hobbit started to feel worst as the day wore on and by the fading light Bilbo could barely even move his feet forward Thorin turns around “Hobbit keep up!” he growled, Bilbo looked up at him with unforced eyes and them passed out.

“Bilbo!” Kili yelled as he watched as Bilbo pass out, him and Fili stopped and knelt by the poor Halfling, the rest of the company stopped and looked back to see the commotion, they panic and ran back to see their burglary passed out on the floor “What wrong with him?” one asked
“Don’t know he just passed out!” Kili said as he turned the hobbit onto his back
“We should camp for the night.” Fili said looking at Thorin, at he didn’t do  anything at first he just looked at Bilbo on the ground with an odd stare on his face, he suddenly saw the pale look on his face the bags under his eyes and the once shinny curly hair was dull  “UNCLE!” Fili yelled, looking down at his nephew and he nodded
“We will camp for the night...someone keeps a look out for Gandalf. Dwalin and Gloin keep watch for the first three then Fili and Kili.” He said, Kili picked up Bilbo and stood there blinking in shock
“What is it Kili?” Bofur asked him seeing the horrified look on the brunette’s face
“He…he’s so light…it’s like he weighs nothing.” He said worriedly
“Come on we will lay him down and look him over.”Bofur said trying to calm the younger dwarf down.

They laid Bilbo down on a thick bed roll, Thorin walked over and watched as Bilbo’s shirt was lifted and there were gasps from the others “Oh god he’s so thin!” Ori cried out, Balin looked at the young Dwarf
“We will attend to him as much as we can but I think we may need Gandalf.” Blain said, no one said a word as they waited for the wizard to reappear. The night came quickly, the fire crackled loudly as a pot of hot soup bubbled away, Thorin kept looking at the ill Hobbit with a tightening his gut and chest, it wasn’t long before Gandalf appeared
“Where the hell have you been?” Throin yelled at the grey wizard,
“What I had to deal the with Elves…what has something happen to Biblo?” he asked giving him a dead look in his eyes, Throin’s hard gaze flicked over to the Hobbit before looking back at Gandalf, the Wizard let out a grunt and looked over to where Bilbo was laying, he moved and walked over to him.

He knelt down and touch his face, he moved the blankets down and lifted his shirt up and looked at the skin and bones of the Hobbit, he saw his rips were starting to show and his breeches were tied up with string to keep them from falling, he turned to the dwarfs “What have you been doing staving him!” he yelled, getting wince out of all them, even Bilbo in his sleep winced and over onto his side, standing Gandalf walked over to them  
“No he’s eaten with us.” Fili said
“Has he? I have seen the way you lot eat it makes me wonder if he got any at all, Hobbit’s have to have 6 meals day to be fit and healthy!” he wizard fumed
“6 meals?”
“Yes 6 meals they can miss the odd couple but they still need a good amount to function, what you have done is starve him!” The wizard walked off grumbling under his breath
“Where are you going now?” Thorin growled
“To find some where we’re we can stay for a few weeks, he will not be walking any where until the weight is back on him!” and with that Gandalf was gone again.

When he did come back it was to tell them they are heading to an elf house, Throin was about to argue that they were not going to an elf house but the thought of Bilbo shut him up. This is where Bilbo found himself waking up in the care of the Lady of the elf house, his eyes looked up at the blond woman sat by his bed, she smiled at him and picked up a small glass by the bed and let him drink form it “I will bring you some food and then you can see your friends.” She said softly, Bilbo didn’t say anything but just watched her leave, he felt whatever the drink was warm him and make him feel better.

The blonde elf came back with a try in her hands, she smiled at him when she see him sat up and looking around the room, she sets the tray out in front of him “Some soup it will do you a world of goods.” She tells him
“Thank you.”  He says with a small voice
“You’re welcome Master Baggins.” She said with a soft voice “You are a very brave being, being around all those Dwarfs, especially with your diet.” The Hobbit nods
“I didn’t want to be rude.”
“You forget that these dwarves are use to barging in and getting things done with thinking first.” She said as she watches him eat, the soup filled him and, he felt so good to have something in his stomach even if he could only have a little bit of hit  “You don’t have to finish it all at once, you can leave it, it will keep its heat.” She tells him
“Thank you.” He says to her again,
“Do you wish to see your friends?” she asked
“Yes please Miss?”
“Flowllra.” She said walking to the door and talking to someone outside.

Bilbo sets the bowl by the bed side table and looks up to see Thorin looking at him; he swallowed the lump in his throat “Thorin I…” the angered dwarf  held his hand up and stop the Hobbit from speaking
“Bilbo…let me speak.” The Halfling stops and sits back a looks at him “I am sorry…” Bilbo looks at him in shock “…I am sorry that we forced you to eat so little and never saying, I’m sorry that I’ve treated you the way I did.” He said walking closer to the Halfling and sitting by his side, he took his hand into his and looked at him in the eyes  “From now on you can tell me anything Bilbo and ask for anything.” He pulls the Hobbit’s hand and places it over his heat and looks at him “Anything.”
